Questions

Who can join Combinative Collective?

Combinative Collective welcomes learners aged 14 and above, including young people accessing alternative provision, learners with SEND, home-educated learners and adults seeking qualifications or new career opportunities.

Enquiries can be made directly by learners and families, or through schools, multi-academy trusts, local authorities and other commissioning organisations.

How are courses and placements funded?

We offer flexible funding arrangements, including school and local authority commissioning, Education Otherwise Than At School (EOTAS) packages and privately funded enrolments.

Courses and support can be combined to create individual learning packages, with payment options available annually, termly or monthly, subject to the agreed arrangements. Our team can discuss available funding and payment options during your discovery call.

How much does it cost to join Combinative Collective?

Our fees are as individual as our learning pathways. Costs vary depending on your chosen combination of courses, qualification levels, vocational pathways and any additional coaching or specialist support required.

Whether you're exploring a single vocational qualification or a comprehensive personalised learning programme, we'll work with you to identify the right combination for your needs and budget. We offer flexible payment arrangements, including annual, termly and monthly options, subject to the agreed programme and funding arrangements.

Fees, funding options and payment plans can be discussed during your discovery call, with a personalised quotation provided before enrolment.

Do you support learners with an EHCP or additional needs?

Yes. Inclusion and personalised learning are central to our approach.

We work with learners, families and commissioners to understand individual needs, review relevant EHCP outcomes where applicable and identify appropriate courses, coaching and additional support. Every proposed pathway is considered individually to establish whether we can meet the learner's needs through our asynchronous education model.

How quickly can I start learning?

Our asynchronous platform allows learners to begin at different points throughout the academic year, without waiting for the start of a traditional term.

Once the appropriate courses, funding and enrolment arrangements are confirmed, learners can receive access to Canvas by Instructure and begin their learning journey. Examination entry and qualification completion remain subject to awarding organisation requirements and published assessment windows.

Can I study part-time or combine different courses?

Absolutely. That's what makes Combinative Collective different.

Learners can study full-time or part-time, alongside existing school provision, home education, employment or other commitments. Our combinative approach allows learners to bring together English, mathematics, business and vocational qualifications at appropriate levels, creating a personalised pathway connected to their chosen career and future ambitions.
